The Apple iPhone 15 may look a bit like the iPhone 14

According to a recent report, the 2022 and 2023 iPhone lineups may share many features. As Apple prepares to introduce its iPhone 14 series later this year, we have already reported rumors regarding the iPhone 15 that will debut the following year. Not only that, according to the latest report, which comes from Omdia (via PhoneArena), the iPhone 15 lineup will have display specifications comparable to the upcoming iPhone 14 series.

More about iPhone 15

Unbeknownst to some, the iPhone 14 Pro series is expected to eventually do away with the obvious notch in the front in favor of two Face ID sensors and a selfie camera. And it looks like the front design of the iPhone 15 range will also be comparable. Notably, unlike the iPhone 14 series, this will also offer a base model at a lower price. The Cupertino-based company is reportedly planning to launch its own iPhones in identical display sizes within the next two years, according to the claim.

It’s interesting to note that Omdia’s analysis also indicated that Apple lags behind competing smartphone manufacturers in terms of Face ID and under-display cameras. These features are likely to be released around the iPhone 16 series. Remember, the iPhone 15 won’t be released for some time, so for now, you should take this report with caution.

To recall the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models, they are expected to have 6.1-inch screens, while the iPhone 14 Pro variants are expected to have 6.7-inch screens. In addition, the price of the iPhone 14 series will vary. The price of Apple products has remained the same as the iPhone 12 series when the iPhone 13 series was announced the previous year.
