Sony has unveiled a new wireless controller for the PlayStation 5, the Sony DualSense Edge, designed to be ultra-customizable.
The new Sony DualSense Edge Wireless Controller comes with customizable controls, changeable stick covers, back buttons, and more.
Here are some of the features:
- Ultra customizable controls: You can make your DualSense Edge wireless controller uniquely yours by resetting or deactivating selected button inputs and adjusting your aim by adjusting stick sensitivity and dead zones (the distance an analog joystick moves before it is recognized in the game). In addition, each trigger is adjustable with options to customize the travel distance and dead zones to your preference. For example, you can manually reduce triggers travel distance for faster inputs in competitive FPS games or reduce the dead zone for precise throttle control in racing games.
- Ability to save multiple control files: Once you find the perfect control settings, you can save them to unique profiles and quickly switch between them. With the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, you’ll always have your favorite controls for your games ready to go, whether you’re facing off against Norse gods and monsters in God of War Ragnarök, or rival players in an online battle royale.
- Console user interface: A dedicated Fn button allows you to easily adjust the setting focusing on in-game action – quickly switch between preset control profiles, adjust game volume and chat balance, and access the console profile settings menu to setup and test new control iterations during gameplay.
- Changeable stick covers and back buttons: Three types of interchangeable stick caps (standard, high dome and low dome) help you stay comfortable in the game while maintaining consistency and stability. The two interchangeable back button groups (half-dome and arm) can be configured to be any other button entry, putting more essential controls at your fingertips.

Replaceable stick units: Play longer with the ability to replace each individual stick unit on the entire console (replacement stick units will be sold separately).
