The crossover game, MultiVersus, is the dream of fans of the combative genre. From Adventure Time to Game of Thrones, Player First Games’ premiere title is a fun blend of legendary franchises that have left fans fascinated by Super Smash-inspired art style and gameplay. However, the first season and the next playable character, Morty (Rick and Morty) has been postponed. Its release date is still a mystery.
Tweets from the MultiVersus development team thanked the players for their support and patience while also announcing the news. This is the full statement:
“Many thanks to everyone who has played MultiVersus. It is exciting to see so many players enjoying the game and the Open Beta release is just the beginning. We want to let everyone know that we are delaying the start of Season 1 and the release of Morty to a later date. We know this might be disappointing for some and want to confirm To our community we are committed to providing new and exciting content that players will delight in. We’ll let you know the timing as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience and enthusiasm and look forward to revealing Season 1 very soon!”
The first season was supposed to release on August 9. We will have to be patient.
