Intel claims that its Arc GPU is faster than Nvidia’s RTX 3060

Intel has released a new performance video for the upcoming Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition graphics card via YouTube.

The video shows an Intel graphics card, along with an Intel Core i9-12900K processor, the CyberPunk 2077 running at an average performance of 60.79 fps at a resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Intel also showed off some of its benchmark scores compared to a system powered by Nvidia’s RTX 3060 GPU. The results show that the limited edition Intel Arc A750 offers 1.15x enhanced performance compared to the RTX 3060.

The Intel Arc A750 also has a marginal performance advantage over the RTX 3060 for F1 2022, Control, Borderlands 3 and Fortnite, all when running at 2560 x 1440.

Intel benchmark results

Of course, this is a relatively small sample size and Intel would have no doubts about choosing Cherry for games that make its GPU performance look even more impressive. But it’s still great to see Intel able to compete with one of the best Full HD graphics cards on the market in the Nvidia RTX 3060.

However, Intel has not officially confirmed the release date or the price of the Intel Arc A750 officially. Wccftech previously reported that the graphics card in question could cost $350, but that has yet to be confirmed. If accurate, it would be a bit more expensive than the $329 / £299 Nvidia RTX 3060 launch price.
