Innodisk has announced the release of its new Edge AI SSD storage in the form of 2.5-inch SATA 3TS6-P, 3TS9-P and M.2 (P80) 4TS2-P drives. Providing low latency, high DWPD (daily drive writes), and large capacities, the new SSDs are equipped with iCell and AES technologies to protect your data from loss and abuse. Innodisk’s latest AI-powered SSD is designed for smart retail, smart cities, smart fleet management, and NAS network storage applications.
“Research shows that the high-end data center market is expected to reach a compound annual growth rate of 24.58% between 2020 and 2028. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and 5G, data usage has shifted from cloud applications to high-end applications, resulting in Demand for advanced servers and advanced data centers Innodisk is ready to introduce advanced server market solutions and open new business opportunities.
Edge AI SSD
“Edge AI SSDs inside edge servers are needed to process data at high speeds at the source, rather than sending all data back to a central data center, thus improving latency and reducing cost. For example, smart streetlights and monitoring units adopt SSD traffic to provide high-speed read/write, large capacity, and low latency for real-time data processing, the same can be said for high-end data centers. With the series reaching 6.4TB, these new SSDs are sure to lead to Disabling the caching market and improving experiences for end users.
CC Wu, general manager of Innodisk’s Flash division, noted that Innodisk has already begun to actively focus on applications for the fast-growing 5G and AI fields. This new product line integrates Innodisk’s research and development capabilities in software, hardware, and firmware. With the introduction of dedicated SSDs that combine the advantages of industrial SSDs with the characteristics of data center SSDs, Innodisk hopes to seize opportunities in the evolving computing business and meet the needs of an ever-growing sector.”
