The Black Shark 5 Pro gaming smartphone went official in June, and now we get to see just how durable the phone is.
In the video below, Zack from JerryRigEverything puts the phone through a range of durability tests, including a screen scratch test, a burn test, and of course a bend test. Let’s find out how the phone works.
As we can see from the video, the phone did well in the scratch test with scratches appearing at Levels 6 and 7, in line with the majority of phones available today.
The device also passed the burn-in test without any permanent damage to the screen, in the bending test, the phone also managed to pass without any permanent damage to the device.
As a reminder, the phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and features HDR10+ technology and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The phone comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, or 16GB RAM and 256GB storage and 256 GB of built-in storage.
The Black Shark 5 Pro also features a 16MP front camera for taking selfies and making video calls. On the back of the phone there is a 108MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP telephoto camera.
