Apple today shared three new announcements highlighting the security benefits of Apple Pay on iPhone over physical credit cards.

Short ads emphasize that physical credit cards can be stolen and used by anyone and your card number is left exposed to other people. The message behind the ads is that all of these security risks can be avoided when using credit cards with Apple Pay.

Apple shared the videos on its YouTube channel in the UK – the videos have not yet been uploaded in the US or other countries.

Apple Pay is at the center of a new class action lawsuit against Apple in California this week. The complaint alleges that Apple is violating US antitrust law by preventing competitors from accessing NFC technology on the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, thus preventing competing payment services from being available for Tap-to-pay on its devices.
